Areas

The participation of CS Centro Stirling in a number of both public and private research projects has allowed it to generate in-house expertise in electromagnetics, fluidics, thermodynamics, materials and functional printing, as well as in design and electronic manufacturing technologies, communications and ICTs.

In recent years, particular emphasis has been placed on the following areas of knowledge:

Functional Printing

Our functional printing technologies are mainly aimed at two areas of activity: human-machine interface (HMI) and sensor technology. Among the different functional printing technologies, screen printing is the one that distinguishes us.

Mechanics

Fluidic simulations: flow regulation and control, thermo-fluid simulations, combination with electromagnetic simulations. Structural calculations: stress and distortion calculations, design optimisation. Mechanical design, design for manufacture and product optimisation. Design for additive manufacturing, prototyping. SMA shape memory materials, Thermoelectricity.
